The design and production of these came about when a friend asked me to make his wife a couple of necklaces for a combined birthday and anniversary gift. She is quite arty and likes using hearts in various decorative ways in her sewing and decorative furnishings. He came up with the heart suggestion and she was over the moon with her present – it’s most often the small thoughts that count, isn’t it?
